One of the  main goals of the ACACIA Female Leadership Initiative is to provide opportunities for girls and young women to gain the skills, self-confidence and access to leadership positions - because this is the demographic consistently absent from such positions in countries all over the world. Please note, that leadership takes many forms – from making decisions in the home, to leading a nation. Also, female leadership is not just a women's issue. In order for women to truly gain equal status, we will need the support of men as well as women.
